ResScan software - No summary but has details???

Post by loganasu » Tue Aug 16, 2011 6:21 pm

Hello... I am reviewing my data in the ResScan software and it is not showing the summaries for the last two days, but the details are there.

Several weeks ago, I had the same thing happened, but the summaries are now showing for those days.

Is this something I'm doing wrong?

You have done nothing wrong- this has also happened to me, when this happens I just download again and then it says that data already exists and if you want to discard or override the data I then select to OVERRIDE and that usually works.

I think that Resscan has glitch (actually a few)

You'll probably have to live with those gliches. I recently got an Adapt SV to compare to my Auto SV, and installed Rescan 3.14 and a card reader. Rescan is buggy as all get out, at least on my computer, which runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I thought it might be a OS compatibility issue; but running in various XP and Vista compatibility modes did not help. Symptoms include: Screen graphics do not adjust right--some text is lopped off in some forms. Quickstart comes up but never works right--I turned it off. Download does not always work, but repeating did the trick all but one time. Sometimes, the "patient" spontaneously closes, and I have to select the "patient" again and start over.

Anyway, I am not terribly impressed with Rescan. It may work properly on some computers; but it does not work right on my current, rather plain-vanilla Windows computer. You'd think Resmed would have released a more robust product. I only hope the Adapt SV proves of better quality.

BTW, I have no trouble running Respironics Encore Pro, also with a card reader, on the same computer.

The same happend to me, after poking around a while I figured out that the "patient" file was currupt. I created a new patient name and downloaded again, solved the problem for me. Unfortunately the detailed data only goes back so far on the SD card. The Summary data went back to the first day on the machine. Using Vista 64 bit.

Good Luck!
Sleep well,
Tom

You have something wrong with your Win 7 installation.... those symptoms are strongly indicative of system level issues, not application issues.

Cheers,

Bill

I have the exact same issues and I think it's actually to do with the fact I now have over 3 years of detailed data stored in the patient file.

I have stopped using autodownload and now open the patient file and download. I have not seen any issues since doing this.

Re: Avatar Message

It was me. Mine used to read "I need sleep!!!". Got tired of it though, mostly because my treatment started working. My user name is a star in the Aquilla constellation that means peregrine falcon, so hence the new avatar. It is kinda fun to pass 'secret messages' in your avatar though.
