What kind of data port do I have?

I just bought a Resmed s8 autoset ll for a backup machine. My primary is an S9. I do not know what I have for data xfer on the s8. It looks like a 2 sided male plug with i think 28 pins on both sides. Thanks ahead of time

Not sure that I understand your question.

S8 machines use the Smart card to store data for transfer to the computer and software.

Then one needs this card reader to slip the smart card in to be connected to the computer.

Now there used to be a cable to do a cpap machine to computer transfer.

Unsure what version of ResScan was needed with this. Seems like older version but I can't swear to it.

All these items are hard to find though I think DME could probably order if they would.

Otherwise there is still the data on the LCD screen.

Yes, I found out that the S8 has a proprietary card and needs the special S8 card reader to download data to your computer.
I have seen some for sale on Ebay.
