I feel like Pinnochio!

Post by snoozalot » Wed Feb 22, 2006 12:28 pm

I've only been on cpap for a couple of weeks but I swear, my nose is getting bigger since I've been using the Aura!

My friends in High School (30 years ago) use to call me "hose nose"...little did I know that someday that nickname would be so accurate!

my nares (as they are known) are forever pink. People think I have a perpetual headcold.

Just think of it as Collogen for your nostrils.

Maybe your machine is running in reverse and it is sucking instead of blowing, pulling your nose into your mask and causing it to enlarge? Just look for the hidden switch to reverse the flow.

I'm told that there are men who would pay big bucks for a machine that would do this, maybe not to their nose though! .

best thing I have found for healing the nose and lubing it at the same time is Castor bean oil. It really heals the nose fast and after a couple of years use, I have yet to notice any affect on the mask materials. Slather it on at night and rub a bit in during the day.

Combine Castor Oil with mask rotation, to one with a different contact point, and you can actually look pretty normal......if thats what your looking for.

But wait a moment....how EXACTLY did you make a body part LONGER with your CPAP?
Not that I REALLY need to know, of course......
