Intellipap and SmartLink - Can't Figure it Out

Post by tangents » Tue Sep 27, 2011 10:54 am

I recently bought the Intellipap with the complete software package, and although I am an engineer, I cannot figure out how to use the software. I'm really feeling stupid. Do you have to hard-connect your machine to your computer, or can you just transfer data via the data card? All I can get in SmartLink is basic adherence data. Yet I see on CPAP.com that you can graph all kinds of fields. I'd appreciate any help you can give me.

Not sure if it is the same way with your machine, but with ResMed, I take the data card out of the cpap machine. I put data card into my computer. I have Rescan software loaded on my computer. I download data from my smart card onto Rescan software to view detailed data.

Which Intellipap did you buy?

The data transfer is from the SD card to your computer to the software. Are you saying that you are using the software but getting on hours of use? Is that what you mean by adherence data?

Sorry - I wised up and listed the proper equipment under my profile. I am transferring my data from the APAP to the SD card, and importing it to the desktop from the SD card. All I get is the "Dashboard". I know there's more information there, and I want it.

If you can't figure it out you might check Emelia's posts. She uses the Intellipap Auto and the software and she knows exactly how to get the data. She might even drop by your post and add her thoughts. I have seen her instructions to someone but I don't remember when or in which thread. She is usually here in the evenings. Since I have no experience with your machine or software all I can do is tell you to wait for Emelia..she can give you specific instructions.
