2 more days all, 2 more days! I can hardly wait!!!
Tomorrow night's goal: Mask up early, go to bed early. Arrive at Starbucks relaxed.
Reality check: Masking up late. Running around the house like a mad woman, rushing to be on time at Starbucks.
Will attempt to look calm, cool and collected

OK everyone, last call. I'll be calling in a count soon to Starbucks so they can reserve a table for us. Anyone else care to join the rest of us walking dead for a coffee?

No problem, here's the first thing to do when you quit:

Advanced funeral planning. When you give up CPAP, you'll probably need it.

For anyone showing up, if you want to bring your sleep study report, or your Encore Pro printout, masks, or anything else you want to share, ask or talk about, this would be a great time to do it since it's so much easier to look at these things around a table than by doing it online.

You just have to wish you were a fly on the wall to see the reaction of the Starbucks personnel watch a cpap group.
The whispers that must cause in the back area, too funny
Well, I for one am getting to bed early to be mentally alert and ready for tomorrow.
See you all tomorrow!

Ameriken, Muse has a great idea. I think I'll bring my cpap on 2nd meeting. We'll be busy enough tomorrow just meeting one another and telling our stories. I plan, like you suggested, on bringing my data sheets from this past week and my personal journal from the last 30 days.

You wanted to know....and it was well worth the effort putting this together, I was hoping for 3 to 4 people and we had 6 show up! Excellent results for a first meeting. It is really nice to put faces to the usernames and to chat with people live and in person rather than via forum. It was great to share successes and failures and get some new ideas that work as well as find out about ideas that didn't work.

Mark your calendars, we've already agreed to our next meeting, Saturday October 22, 10 am. This will be a ''bring your equipment day". Location TBA, a couple of members are looking at a location with a larger meeting room near 80th and Wadsworth.

DEVILBISS: I spoke with everyone and we agreed that it would be a good idea to have a manufacturers rep there, and if you can make it on Oct 22, let me know, we'd love to have you. If you cannot make it for October, let me know if you can make it for a future date. Thank you for your offer.

If anyone else is considering a meeting in their area, I really would encourage you to start something, it is definitely worth it to meet others in person.

Thank you to everyone who showed up today!

STAY TUNED, DETAILS FOR OCTOBER 22 WILL FOLLOW SOON.

What a great time.
So good to put a face to a name.
The face to face sharing of your story and
listening to others creates an immediate bond.

I feel like I have known each of you somewhere before.

Thanks! everyone for coming and sharing.
I'll be looking forward to the next meeting.

Until then, I'll see you on the road.

Carbonman, Starlette, ksmiley, Ameriken, Tcamillemars and Leonard. We all had a great time. Sooo glad we got together also. It was awesome to talk to folks that understood what I was going through. Next month, we do show and tell with our equipment. I'm looking forward to that.

I enjoyed the meeting. We each have had our own unique experiences with sleep studies, doctors, DME's, masks and accessories. Can't be a regular attender but it was fun to meet you all.

Hey everyone, thanks for a great meeting, I really enjoyed meeting and talking with all of you.

Leonard, I know you probably won't be able to come up from the Springs for another meeting, but I just want to say thanks for dropping in and bringing your report. I've been thinking about how you've been able to narrow down your pressure to a small window to produce the best AHI. It's made me think about my own therapy and I'm wondering if I can figure out how to narrow down my own pressures on my ASV. So thanks for bringing it.

Teresa or Kent...if you can, please let me know if you've been able to secure the meeting place at 80th and Wads (Oct 22, 10 am). I'd like to start promoting next months meeting as early as possible and give folks some more time to plan. I sent a PM to DeVilbiss to see if they can show up for Octobers meeting. Should be a good one!

Tara, Teresa, Leonard, Kent, and Carbonman, thanks for making this an enjoyable and productive meeting and I look forward to seeing most of you next month.

Sounds like one and all had a good time. Unfortunately, I was already committed to perform a wedding yesterday for a young couple down here from one of our parishes in Northern Canada. I hope to make the next one though and it would be nice if it were to be a little closer to the Englewood area but wherever it ends up I will try to make it. I would have enjoyed meeting with all that attended.
