Remstar plus c-flex statistics / software

I'm new to the world of apnea & CPAP and I'm still exploring this message board. When I first received my machine (Remstar plus c-flex) I had no idea that I could extract the data to see how I'm actually doing.

Two questions:

1) Can I bowse through the menu to find he statistics or do I have to extract off of he SD card?

2) What's the best (and free) software I can use that's ompatible with my CPAP machine.

Unfortunately any of the Respironics Plus machines offer only how many hours of use the machine has seen.
Is the machine a PR System One Remstar Plus with CFlex? Would visually look like mine does in my profile.
My machine offers full data, comes with SD card and I have these options for software

If you do have the PR System One Remstar Plus with the little SD card in the back...it only hold compliance data (hours of use) to satisfy insurance requirements.

If you haven't had it very long you might be able to get the DME to swap it out for at least the PR System One Remstar Pro with CFlex (it is a straight cpap with full data collected)

And welcome to the forum. So sorry I had to give you bad news about your new machine. You have no way to check to see even if any leaks are compromising therapy. Machines that don't offer full data are sometimes called "bricks"..heavy but not much use.
Don't get me wrong, it will provide excellent therapy...you just don't have any way to verify that the therapy is optimal.
If you don't feel so great...no way to try to figure out why.

Thank you for the response. Yes, I definitely have the plus and not the pro. I'm going to call my DME and see if I can swap it out.

Hopefully DME will be agreeable.. Beware some DMEs will lie about the data...saying the Plus does offer data "see the SD card"....Yes, technically true it does offer hours of use which is one item of data but not the full data.
The Plus is the cheapest machine (cost wise) for their inventory. They make more money selling the cheapest machine because the billing codes for it and the full data machines are the same...they charge the same and insurance pays the same per the code and not machine model.

Depending on your insurance coverage and how the billing was set up (outright purchase vs month rent to own with capped rental) you might even be able to return that machine and go to another DME if this one won't work with you.
