Strange burning feeling in sinus
Since the beginning of September, I have been having a burning type pain in my left sinus area. I is far more noticable when my nose is unusually clear and open. It is very annoying to say the least. I have no nasal discharge at all. FORTUNATELY, when I use my cpap with the humidity set at at least 2 out of 5, it goes away. I don't know why this has come on over the last few weeks. I hope it goes away. I think winter may make it worse as the air will be colder and dryer. does anyone have any experience with this or have any input? Thanks, Gary

I have the same issue with nasal passes burning, but only happens when I'm low on water or have ran out of water in the humidifer. Just one of the signs that I have known to watch for when it happens.

Increase your humidity. And when winter comes get an in room humidifier and get an air purifier.newyorknative wrote:Since the beginning of September, I have been having a burning type pain in my left sinus area. The humidifier in your profile doesn't match your CPAP machine.
Does your CPAP say "M series" on it? Or does it say "Philips Respironics."
The humidifiers work differently on various types of Respironics machines.
