Respironics Remstar Pro 450 AHI calculations

Just got my new Respironics System ONE, Remstar Pro. Wondering when the machine calculates AHI for the previous nights sleep.

Shortly after I woke up this morning, I checked the AHI result for the nights sleep, and the AHI indicated the previous night's AHI 7.7. Yesterday, (the first day of use), the AHI did not indicate anything until several hours after I had turned off the machine.

I did check the AHIs recorded on the SD card, and both read out using Sleepyhead 1st night=7.7 and last night = 2.4 so the system is working. I would rather get the AHI via the CPAP info screen since it's a pain to remove the modem and the SD card to get the data to my PC everyday.
