Intellipap Data Question

Post by DouglasL » Wed Sep 07, 2011 2:16 pm

Been using my Intellipap Auto for 5 days now with success. Due to another health issue I almost always have to get up during the night. When I get up I don't want to disturb my partner by leaving the CPAP running with the mask off.

Question is if I turn off the machine and then turn it back on a few minutes later, will the machine "Pick Up" where it left off or does this begin another data capture cycle?

Most machines run a daily cycle from 12 noon to 12 noon the next day. Yes the machine will continue recording when you turn it back on...but it will show the break in the time you were off the machine.

And if you leave the machine on and are not using it...it knows that too. At least my resmed S9 autoset knows if I am actually wearing it or if its just on running.

Your profile says you have the software. Using the software you will see where you stopped the machine as a little gap in the graph. With the software module attached the machine uses realtime. You can set it via the software. Without the module the machine uses 12hrs. So if you do not have the module you need to unplug and plug the machine back in to reset the 12hrs. Do this right before you go to bed.
