Howdy folks,
It's been a while since I've posted on here and frequented the forums, but I'm back because I have an equipment concern. This weekend while I sleeping in our cabin up north, my machine seemed to have dropped pressure during the middle of the night. It still says that it is pumping out 13.0 pressure, but it doesn't feel the same is it did before. I'm not sure if the decrease in pressure was because of the old cabin's OLD electric wiring, or if my machine should be looked at. I'm kind of stumped at this point in time, so if anyone has come across something similar, or if you have any good feedback, it would be appreciated.

Re: S8 Randomly dropped pressure this weekend
If you were a newbie I would probably tell you that you were just getting used to the pressure. What starts out feeling like a hurricane when we first mask up each night ends up feeling like a gentle breeze during the night or when we wake up.
Since you aren't a newbie and probably long since got past the adjustment stage I would think that a trip to DME to check the pressure might be in order. Just for peace of mind if nothing else.
I doubt it was the wiring if pressure seemed normal when first starting up. Of course you can also evaluate it at home.
It could be just that you are getting so accustomed to the pressure it doesn't seem like much but when in doubt..doesn't hurt to have the DME check it. There are also homemade manometers you can make to test pressure yourself. While I am techy I am not that kind of techy.. Instructions on how to make your own are somewhere on this forum. I have seen them.

Re: S8 Randomly dropped pressure this weekend
Your wiring is unlikely to be a cause. If the voltage drops below the working voltage of the device it'll just stop working. The problem could be a fault and it would be worth getting the device checked over. Most likely problem is the airflow sensor. It could also be due to ingress of dust, water or other foreign matter.
