I have recent graphs from my sleep doctor. Every time you visit there they ask you to bring your machine and they do a data dump and print out graphs for the doctor and give you a copy if you ask.

With my S9Autoset, I don't see any connection between mask leak, AHI, and pressure, up to 16 cm H2O. If the mask leak is above 24 l/min then the machine would diagnose the event as "Unknown". See my graphs of the last 3 months:

Some members here have pressures in the high teens and do well with RespCare Hybrid Univeral mask. Comfy, pillows with an oral cushion making it a FFM.
ResMed S9 range 9.8-17, RespCare Hybrid FFM
Never, never, never, never say never.

Ameriken,

Wish I knew your secret - my experience with QFX has been quite a struggle. I've read everything I can find about it and watched the videos, and it's still a struggle.

I've learned that if you can get it to stop blowing into your eyes, it blows around the lower half. It just blows.
I've learned that skin oil+water vapor makes a tremendous emulsion - liberating the mask from your face. So, I've tried turning off the humidity, washing with 3 kinds of soaps, alcohol, witch hazel, all to no effect.
I've learned that the Padacheek liner will enable the QFX to climb up my nose in 30min until it's blowing violently out the top.(that microfiber stuff is very slick).

In spite of it all, I've learned to sleep anyway. With the machine racing and the mask howling.
My DME person (LRT,RRT) claims it's probably the best mask available of the 50 or so that they provide. I'm afraid she may be right.

I just received my S9 Vpap. The software indicates that there is an option for a Usb direct connection and a USB adapter.
Right now I'm trying to read out of the SD card, but would rather use a direct connection. Where on the machine is a usb port??

My resp. therapy company put a wireless transmitter on the machine to broadcast my data to their computer. Maybe the port is underneath this??

Check out fabric mask liners by RemZZZZs or gel mask liners by cpapseal.com (both available on their own sites or on Amazon. I have a pressure level of 17. I have tried the Remzzzz's with almost total success; however, since I am a restless sleeper, the initial leak stoppage success was sometimes interrupted and I would have to repostion the mask. So I am trying this gel type liner, hoping for complete's night results!

If Resmed's continuing their usual practice(from what I understand)... all you'll get out of the USB connection is compliance data... you need to use the SD card.

I could only (barely) wear the QFX mask if I also wore swim goggles--the leaks into my eyes were that severe.
I sent the mask back.
