Length of a script

Post by ErnieH » Tue Aug 23, 2011 2:56 am

On my Doctors Script, it says Length of need.... Lifetime. Does that mean I can continue to use my script forever? Is there a time period for a script? Also, when I'm ready to get a new machine, will I need to get a new script?

Thanks in advance,
Ernie

Lifetime means good for your lifetime. No need for new script to get a new machine.

Some doctors put 1 year or so on script forcing another office visit to get a renewed script.

Your lifetime or his lifetime, whichever ends first.
If the physician who wrote the prescription dies, it's no longer valid. Or so my pharmacist told me when my cardiologist died and I needed a refill on meds.
