I successfully read the data from the Smart Card. I hope it didn't erase the data. (This might upset my sleep clinic.)
Is there any way to save the report it generates besides printing it out?
Is there a tutorial here on how to read the data report and the meanings of the number.
I think I have a very high number on the mask leakage.
Thanks.

Re: Respironics Smart Card and Encore Viewer
I asked these same questions when I first got my EV. You have to click the Print icon at the top and then choose the Microsoft Office Document Image Writer as the printer, from the dropdown menu of printer choices. (With XP, I show Quicken PDF Printer on that list, but get a "Not activated" message when I choose it....and haven't figured out how to use that, unfortunately). Then choose a place you want to save the report to. I put mine in a folder on my desktop. Pretty cumbersome process, and Respironics tells me there is no plan in the immediate future to add a Save button........twocents wrote: Is there any way to save the report it generates besides printing it out?

To save your report to "My Documents" on your computer download one of the free PDF programs. I have PrimoPDF. When I select "print' for the report, I chose "Primo PDF", which is listed in the drop down menu as a printer (if you've installed the PrimoPDF program).
I put each day's report in a folder in "My Documents" entilted "Encore Viewer Reports."

There's a free download version and it is very efficient on file sizes compared to the Encore Pro .pdf report formatter.

After installation, you direct the Viewer program to print and then select the CutePdf printer and file location where you want it to go.

Thanks for that reminder. I read it once, but forgot to download it. Will do it now.Wulfman wrote:

Re: Respironics Smart Card and Encore Viewer
Personally, I used EncoreViewer and a Smart Card. I used this two to view and print the therapy data generated from your Respironics sleep therapy device. As we all know, EncoreViewer reads the patient's Smart Card and displays detailed compliance and therapy reports.
