Your place is gorgeous!!! All except for the bed covering, it looks kind of itchy! I just keep my stuff out for display. Maybe someone should come up with a designer cover for the CPAP.

I'm a neat freak but I do leave me machine on the nightstand.
In the morning I take out the tank and march the tank, hose and mask to the bathroom.
Dump tank, hang hose in closet and wash mask and leave it on the sink to dry.
I have never had anyone ask about the machine on the nightstand.
I think people thinks it's just a cd player or something.

Did I mention you have a lot of shirts?

Thanks!
The bed covering is actually the softest texture imaginable, its a patchwork of pieces of Tibetan goat hide, just like the "fluffy white pillow" that Amos was teasing me about.

I have one of those hose wrangler systems from our sponsor's site. That holds the hose and mask up off the bed. The unit sits on the nightstand, sans the water tank, which I empty and stick on the drainboard to dry.

All the other gear (extras, etc.) I put in a box in the closet.

Which hose wrangler do you use? The one I use used to be available on Ebay an is made of a metal arm and piece of wood with a hole in for the metal to stick into. I have it mounted to the backside of the headboard. Aside from Pad-A-Cheeks the hose lifter thing is my most important "comfort" device.

Tuck my hose and mask in the drawer below the machine in the night stand. But that is so it won't get chewed by the dog or walked on by kitty.

My CPAP stays on the nightstand.

I have an "S" hook on my hose hanging system which I hang my mask on to stop it falling on the floor. This also keeps it tidily tucked away at the side of the headboard, so you can't see it from the doorway. Not that I care if anyone sees it, I just like neatness.

I disconnect the hose from the humidifier so it can dry out during the day and have pretty little canvas totes that fit in the upper open section of the nightstand where my chinstrap lives during the day, along with a li'l flashlight, extra pillows, wipes etc. - everything I might need on a daily basis. Everything else is behind a door at the bottom section of the nightstand.

Before bedtime I reconnect the hose, clean the nasal pillows with a wipe, check the humidifier tank, put chinstrap on nightstand - so it's all ready to go before I get tired.

Cheers,
xena

The machine and breathing circuit stay on the nightstand. I always cover my mask with a clean cloth (wash cloth will do nicely) during the day. I don't humidify, so no worries about leaving water standing and getting icky.

When traveling, that changes entirely. I put everything (except the transformer) away in plastic ziplocs, in my luggage. Vacationing in Hawaii last year, I saw the cutest lizard crawling over my nightstand curing the day, confirming the reasons behind stowing the pap gear on a daily basis when traveling.

I don't make my bed every day. I'm certainly not going to put that machine away every day.

Yikes!
Donchya know??? You aren't supposed to make your bed every day - or even between changing bedding. Changing bedding every day encourages bed bugs. They don't like the light and fresh air they encounter in and on unmade beds. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Besides ... I read that in a newspaper and we all know how accurate journalists are when the print the facts.

I'm with you Slinky, no need to make the bed every day, or even every decade Cats and hubby dont mind, no one else sees , or for that matter wants to.

Huh?

Why is the hose of your CPAP connected to a pair of hanging pants?

I sometimes leave it out on my nightstand, but I try to put it away. I hang the hose over a hook in the bathroom and put the machine and mask in a single plastic pull out drawer unit that I put on the floor on the other side of the nightstand. Setting it all back up at night is a pain, but... I often think that someone needs to design some kind of container/cover for the machines that is decorative enough to keep out in plain view but still allows for proper ventilation of the machine.

At first I was thinking, WTF is he talking about! Then I realized that the clothes steamer was just inside the closet.

New from Ronco. The amazing CPAP machine and clothes steamer. Cures apnea! Removes wrinkles! Makes thousands of steamed Julienne fries.

How much would you pay? Don't answer, because with each order....
