For anyone who has gone on vacation with your cpap, do you bring the humidifier with you? I keep the heat to a pretty low level and don't turn the heat on at all during the warmer months. It sure would be more portable to leave that part home. No heating unit, no water tank, no distilled water - you have to admit it sounds good. Any one have suggestions?
I'm really good about using a nasal rinse and I would keep up this up.

It's nice to have options, it's a long walk back to get it if you need it. You get 3/4 of the way up Mount Everest, and have to go back down for the HH.

I just came back from Colorado and I did bring my HH. My unit and the HH are integrated and very small. I would not have been happy at that high altitude with the dry air if I had left my HH (or my heated hose) at home.

Napper-
Have you tried not using a humidifier at home to see how you do? How is the environment (temperature, humidity, etc.) where you are going-- similar to what it is where you live? I would experiment a little before taking the step not to bring it along.
