Hello Everyone!
I am looking for recommendations on masks. I have tried the one on my profile and am currently trying the resmed swift fx for women. I liked the one on my profile, however it marked up my face and I found it a bit cumbersome. The nasal pillows i sleep better with but i can hear myself breathing in and out and that keeps me up. Are some nasal pillows quieter than others? Are there gel pads or something to put under a mask to keep your face from being marked up? I've been surfing the masks and there are soo many it's overwhelming! Anyone with recommendations?! THANKS!!!

I've used the same two you use. I am also planning to do a lot more research before I go back for my next one.nonsleeper wrote:Hello Everyone!

I think part of the problem with asking for recommendations is that your needs may be different from the "next guys". For example, I did okay with both of these (except for the markings, like you, from the ComfortGel) until my allergies kick in. So I'm considering a Quattro FX full-face mask for allergy season. In addition, I've curious about the Mirage FX - it looks much less bulky than the ComfortGel, but there's no way to tell from the pictures whether it would be any better on air leaking around my eyes.
Anyway, those are the two I'd like to try on, the next time I go.

Re: Researching Masks
I am starting to look at new masks myself, I have been happy with my Mirage Activa LT mask for the most part. Rested Gal suggested trying the super soft strap pads from http://padacheek.com/ for a problem I was having with the headgear irritating the back of my neck. It worked wonders for that and I am beyond thrilled. I think they would help with your face getting marked up too because that is what they are actually designed for. Good Luck!

Re: Researching Masks
I find the Resmed nasal pillows are very comfortable however they are not as stable as a Mirage nasal mask. If my nose gets marked I switch to the pillows and then back to the nasal mask.
