Do you clean the Aussie Heated Hose?

Post by gailandartie » Fri Jul 01, 2011 6:52 pm

I have an Aussie Heated hose, which is fantastic.

I am wondering if this type of hose is susposed to be cleaned and if so how.

Thanks.

If you feel the need to, then yes, you should clean it.

Here what I used to do.....
  • Bought a hose connector, similar to this one ... https://www.cpap.com/productpage/univer ... ector.html

Wrapped some cling film (Glad Wrap or similar) tigtly over the power connector on the hose.

Put some warm soapy water into the hose, connected the ends, and then swished the water around in the joined up hose for a few minutes.

    Emptied out the soapy water

Flushed some clean water through the open hose.

Took the cling film off the power connector

Hung it up somewhere to dry for a few hours.
Cheers,

Bill
