THANKS LOUSPEACHY!!!! (my new buckwheat pillow came today!)

Post by fireman38355 » Fri Jun 24, 2011 6:29 am

After reading your post about your new buckwheat pillow, I just HAD to give it a try! I received mine yesterday, and for the first time in a LONG TIME, I woke up today with NO BACK PAIN! NO NECK PAIN! I woke up feeling like I could run a marathon! (though I doubt I will... ;P )

Just wanted to say THANK YOU for sharing your experience and helping me to get a better night's sleep......

BEANS72 is wonderful, too!

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Jeff

I am soooooo glad you like your new pillow!

I am sure some people thought I had part interest in beans72.com as much as I talked about their products. I am still sleeping comfortably on both my side AND my back. Their pillows are amazing!

last night was my second night with the new pillow and I must say that I AM IN LOVE! The last 2 days I have not had any neck or back pain. AND, I can sleep in ANY position without fear of the pillow jerking the mask off of my face! Wherever I put my head, that's where it stays..... no "sinking" into the pillow after a while causing the nasal pillows to shift and come loose.

I had never even heard of a buckwheat pillow before your post. But I have about a dozen other pillows stashed in the closet that never could do what this new pillow does.... and that's give me a good night's sleep!

thanks again!

Jeff

Just completed my second night on buckwheat - only problem - I got the Japanese size and should have at least done the standard. Very nice though and will be a good size for travel. Back or neck pain was no problem before so I can't relate to that. I distinctly remember a poster's review saying, "Be sure to get the small one." Next time I follow a recommendation I'll need to read the "why's." As information, I removed about a half gallon of hulls to get the firmness to my liking so it's good they include all they do. I told you I'd tell you how long it took to get it after ordering - 4 days. I'll order their pillows from Amazon next time and get it in 2 days (supposedly) as a Prime member.

Yes, the Japanese one is VERY small. That's what I ordered my husband but he has made it work. The standard size all buckwheat weighs between 9.5 and 10.5 pounds and I haven't taken out an ounce of fill. The only thing I did to the "innards" was add some lavender flowers which unfortunately, you can't smell with the mask on

Boy, I wish I had found this pillow YEARS ago!!

After all the raving I got a pillow from Amazon. I bought the duo pillow--one side buckwheat, one side millet. I really like the millet side, it feels a bit softer than the buckwheat yet will hold its shape. It is helpful in getting a position on my side that accommodates the mask. I think that I will order a second pillow of all buckwheat to stick behind my back. One problem I have with sleeping on my side is that I jerk a lot before going to sleep. These jerks disappear if I have something pressing on my back. As I am avoiding sleeping on my back this might help.

I like a firmer pillow so the all buckwheat is best for me. If my husband ever decides if the likes the buckwheat or the millet side the best, I will get him a standard size to replace the Japanese size.
