Quattro FX Mask

Post by pazza46 » Sun Jun 19, 2011 2:14 pm

Hi

Just changed my mask to a Resmed Quattro FX mask, nice mask quite comfortable to wear. But the only problem I find is the air vent seems to block up after a while. I've only had it for a few days just to try it out. I have cleaned it probably as well. Par from that it's not a bad mask.

I've been using one of these for a couple months, and have never cleaned the hard plastic part of the mask except to wipe it with a mask wipe every week or two, and mine hasn't clogged at all. I wonder if what's gumming up your vent is actually something you use to clean the mask.

Also, are you using the finest filter available for your flow generator, and do you replace them regularly?
