I like Sleepyhead, BUT if we have to have a new name ...how about. ""APPLAUD"" Its something we are all doing (hands clapping) for your conscious efforts to provide us with a easily manageable, inexpensive way to observe how our sleep therapy is going. I "Applaud" you..

"APPLAUD" Ap-pl-aud
broken down in parts to stand for
Ap- apnea
pl- pliable, sculptual, or pl..a plat or chart, map
aud -an audit, exam or review, or to verify.

anyhow thats for your efforts.

In the hope it goes further, I suggest you run some trade mark and domain name searches on the names before you put them up for vote. If someone's already using it, best to save yourself some hassle and avoid it. Happy to help with this if you have not done it before.

What sometimes helps is to go and look at obsolete or roots of words for what you are describing. For example some words that might be able to be used to come up with something:

"Oneirodynia" means disturbed sleep (not very catchy) maybe "Oneiromancer" means one who interprets dreams to predict the future. Kind of what we do with the sleep data...

"Hypnos" or "Hypnology" Hypnos being the greek god of sleep, hypnology the study of sleep.

"Subet" subet (or subeth) means unhealthy or morbid sleep.

Somnology

AboutLastNight

SleepScope or DreamScope or Hypnoscope or Somnoscope

Hypnopomp (Greek for "sleep guide")

Nightvision (there is already software with this name, but I'm throwing it out in case it gives someone else an idea)

Somnosage or Hypnosage

Somnotherapist

DreamWise
or SleepWise

Breath

Slept

Sleep Voyager
or Somnus Voyager

Hypnotuner
or Somnotuner

Cognosom
or Somnition ("understanding sleep" note that while most people will probably understand the intent, the second combination obscures the important root "gno" a bit)

I hope that Jedimark's suggestion, Hypnophile, makes the short list. I really like that one. If people think that sounds dirty, we need to stage a sleep pride parade.

Expanding one one of Gerald?'s

Subet Retaliator or Subere

Or some other word with Subet that suggests fighting back.
