Postings not appearing

I posted a new topic and responsed to two existing topics yesterday, June 8th and they have not appeared yet. I did not receive any reject indicating there was a problem of any kind. Can anyone suggest what i am doing wrong? Thanks.

I found that if I don't have my settings correct on how far back I can see posts, if I post on an old post, it will disappear. If you change your settings to view ALL posts - then your posts may show up.

It's probably there, just hidden from view per your settings.

When posting a reply to an existing thread topic make sure you see the confirmation message. When someone else has posted a reply since the time you posted yours when you click submit button your post doesn't "stick" yet. Instead we are given opportunity to see the very latest message and then edit our response if we wish. We must click on submit button again before the confirmation message appears.

Regarding the new topic you posted I have no idea what may have happened. I don't remember if they also get a confirmation message.

Generally there is no lag time and if you go right back to the board and no message appears then perhaps computer website gremlins. There have been a few others from time to time say that their replies don't show up.

I sometimes have internet connection time outs when attempting to submit a post. If I don't hit retry till I get confirmation, the reply will not show up.

Unless post is obvious spam or gibberish, no one will bother it unless you maybe have a stalker here with spam removal privileges. It's rare but it has happened.

Make sure you're hitting the "Submit" button at the bottom of the post. Following that, there should be a screen come up that lists an option to view your post. If you don't see that, you pressed the wrong button/icon. And, if you did press the wrong button, you should be able to hit the "Back" button on your browser and get back to the screen you were trying to post.

Don't feel bad; I forget to hit 'submit' sometimes too.

When my post disappear, it is sometimes because I sent them to draft instead of posting. I am really good at screwing things up.
