Screen Timeout Issue

Post by nedrob » Wed Jun 08, 2011 3:36 pm

I just got home with my new ResMed S9. I noticed that after the screen times out and goes black, when I press the knob to get the display back, it always goes into the temp settings mode. I have to press the knob one more time to get back to the main screen.

Is this a bug or a feature? Either way, it's a pain that I have to double click the knob to wake it up.

Mine does the same thing. I would think they would assume the first thing you need to do when the machine is running is adjust the temp. So it defaults to that screen. Not a big deal for me. Plus I rarely have to mess with it once its on.

Try turning the knob one click counterclockwise and see if that doesn't get you to the home menu and wake up the screen, both.

If it "BUGS"you, it's a feature. If it's a feature, it "BUGS" you. jim
