leak data

Post by steve7e » Mon Jan 23, 2006 10:00 am

I was hoping somebody could help. I have been using a Spirit, in the morning when I look at the results on the machine it says LEAK:0.96 L/s. Is this normal? If not what does it mean and or what should I do?
Thanks

Check the user manuals that came with the mask. There should be a graph in there that shows the leak rate for the pressure used. You should be able to tell from that if your leak rate is close to "acceptable".

Best wishes,

When I looked at the manual I think all it shows is the flow rate for the mask vs pressure. I don't remember seeing anything for leak rate.
I am also running a leak rate from .7 to .9 and the mask fit is being reported as excellent.
