MASK LINER

Post by máirtín » Wed May 25, 2011 9:44 pm

Got my new Pad-A-Cheek mask liner in the mail today.
Put it on the mask and tried it out watching American Idol.
Seems like it leaks a lot (maybe not when I am lying down, though) but it is a lot more comfortable than silicone on my nose sore.

I hope it turns out that there are fewer leaks with the liner when you are lying down. I ordered a liner that is due here today or tomorrow. Did yours work out?

the padacheek liners are great. I cant imagine not using one now. I find that the quattro FX leaks much less than the quattro mirage and ultra mirage. I think that if you get your mask adjusted properly the liner will not increase leaks. I never had a sore nose again after I started using the padacheek liner.

I wish they had one for my mask (Total Face mask by Respironics). I tried cutting out homemade liners from some old underwear, but they didn't work. I even woke up at night with strange thoughts of having my old underwear close to my face.

Did it work out?
I would say "YES".
The leaking didn't change much but the mask was more comfortable.
I will monitor it for a couple more days and report here.

At least I didn't have to wear my underpants over my face - that's a win-win, Sheriff (and well worth $15).
