Climateline Hose
Last month my sleep Dr gave me a RX for Climateline Tubing. This I ordered online - it came and I started using it - it uses a ton of water so I need to frequently refill the chamber and I was very dry with it - not sure I like it at all. Also it was waking me up because its very stiff and hits into the headboard of the bed. Can I put a hose cozy on it( to make it quieter) or will it still work correctly? Anyone else ever have issues with this product? I am feeling like I should have saved my money and have gone back to the other hosing with a hose cozy. May be I am doing something wrong - not sure - any ideas would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

Re: Climateline Hose
Re: water usage, I keep mine set at 78 degrees F and it needs to be refilled every 3rd day or so. I wonder if you live in a particularly dry climate.
I've been using my climateline for 6 months now and no issues with flexibility. It's very flexible. And, yes, I keep a hose cozy on it, though Resmed warns not to do so. So long as you don't have the temperature cranked up to the max, I don't see any reason for that.
For me, the climateline made a huge improvement. I wouldn't be without it now.

Re: Climateline Hose
I have a climateline hose also, and it initially did the same thing - made a lot of noise hitting the headboard.
I purchased a stick-up type hook, which I saw recommended here, but it has a loop that you can unhook for cable, but it's the perfect size for the hose.
As I'd already made a hose cosy from micro-fleece for my regular hose and had fabric left over, I made a single-layer shorter cosy so that when the climateline hose is attached to the 'cable hanger' system on the side of the headboard, the cosy stops it from banging against the wood so there's no noise.
Btw - the stick-up hook thingy is one of those that you can easily remove without damaging the surface - it's called a 3M Command cord bundler. It's unobtrusive as well as practical.
Cheers,
xena
