Unless you move a lot during the night, I am not even sure you need the tape.
Never taped mine on, and it doesn't move.

If it turns into a Waltz, I may skip the tape.

New to this, but I'm wondering how much wrapping the tape around the finger is going to change/skew the results. As it would effect the blood flow to the finger and thus might change the readings on the oximeter.

I ran the tape along the finger rather than around it. You could run it along both sides of the finger if you think it still might fall off with too much moving around (and dancing) and should not effect the blood flow much if any.

I understand, but I couldn't see all the hand gestures while you were typing. ;D If it's loose enough you're right, most likely wouldn't effect blood flow.

I bought a roll of that elastic reusable type tape they use when they draw blood. It still allows movement and hold but my old blood still circulates. Nice part is NO gummy residue.
