leaks leaks leaks

Post by r48550 » Sun May 15, 2011 2:25 pm

Me again... The past few nights my leak numbers have been through the roof. I have the F&P Premo and I'm using the FX pillows. I am assuming that the readings, as high as 174 last night, are cause by my mouth being opened by the pressure (10). I've read that a chin strap can help, any other alternatives?

Thanks again, Pete.

you can try taping your mouth... it'll probably give you a better result than a chin strap.

Have you thought about a full face mask if you're a mouth breather?

As cflame suggests, try tape. Search for tape and taping here in the forum. It's been discussed quite a bit, both how-to and what to use.

For taping, try 3M blue painter's tape, 2 inch wide, model #2080 [not the 2090].
For chin strap, the papcap from pur-sleep.com works wear plus they have a full refund policy if not satisfied.

Are you sure it's 100% mouth leaks. The I could never get the Fx pillows to fit properly for me
