I will finally be getting my ResMed ClimateLine tube. I am very excited that Manulife, my insurance provider will be covering this CPAP upgrade!

A pleasant tomorrow to all. Sweet dreams!

Actually, the hose has a 90-day warranty, according to the ResMed folks. Armed with that great info, I was able to get a refund from my supplier.

However, I noticed an oval-shaped indent in the replacement hose near the fitting -- which is exactly like the hole that blew out in the first hose. Very odd coincidence. However, the hose should be replaced about 2 or 3 times a year anyway. I do like its lighter weight and its functionality.

I have wrapped Vetwrap tape around my slimline and climateline hoses--from about a 1/2 inch from the outside end of the rubber coupling to about an inch or so onto the tubing. I felt the joint needed reinforcement; as I had two hoses die on me. So far the vetwrap is working great-several months on each hose.

The ClimateLine hose worked okay for myself last night, but I only got 6.3 hrs on it. Do you think there might be a leak in the hose? Do you have any suggestions for a newbie to correct their sleep hygiene?

Thank you very much!
