I have been doing fairly well up to this point, until Saturday night, i only had actually about 3.3 hrs on my Intellipap Auto Adjust [straight CPAP - setting 10.5] i had been taking medicine Prednisone for arthritic flare up which left me with some insomnia so as you can see my sleep was limited Saturday night; however, last night I went to bed at 9:00pm and woke up at 5:30 am; however, when looking at the data it showed only 3.6 hrs of actual usage [i have been using my Quattro mask - which i always have had leaks about 31% but thats about it i still have average 1.0 AHI nightly and about roughly 6.5to 8.0 hours nightly of actual usage]; i will note that with my nasal mask; i never have leaks and my average AHI is about 2.0 - 2.5 and limited exhale puffs to zero; whereas when using the Quattro I noted sometimes 1-2 Exhaled puffs; getting to my question i guess since the night i had limited time on my machine and then last night having at least 8 hours; why would it read less? [as 3.6 usage; however exhale puff was 2; AHI only 1.0] i need to understand and/or
if i need to perhaps "re-boot" my machine since to me the read out was inaccurate. I love this machine and I like to keep using it but good data is important to myself as well as my pulmonary doc. I would appreciate any input, comments, suggestions; of note I actually feel a lot better this morning since I slept better and I feel rested and renewed.

Is there reset button for Intellipap?
Re: Is there reset button for Intellipap?
If you do not have the data module that the sd-card goes in, then the only way to reset it is to unplug it and plug it back in right before you go to bed. This will reset the 12hr clock. I had the same thing happen to me. I asked the Devillbis rep that visit this forum and was told to unplug it and plug it back in at bed time. If you have the data module connect it to your pc and it will update the time from your pc.

jmcanzo, have you found a way to adjust the SmartLink clock?

Re: Is there reset button for Intellipap?
I did nothing to adjust the time. I hooked the smartlink module to the intellipap and then my pc, it had the time. I assume it got it from the PC as there was nothing I set. I did install the firmware upgrade using the cable. (maybe it came thru the cable from the pc)yrnkrn wrote:jmcanzo, have you found a way to adjust the SmartLink clock?
Re: Is there reset button for Intellipap?
The module you put on the back of the machine will maintain the time/date, then when you put the SD card into your computer/card reader and upload to the software, the correct time will be there. To 'reset' your machine, you just need to unplug and then replug the unit into the power source. You will also find that the module will adjust automatically to Daylight Savings Time or Standard, if you participate in that. It is based on the time zone you chose in setting up you patient info in the software.
Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.
Re: Is there reset button for Intellipap?
Yes, I see now. The software adjusts all report times based on the patient time zone. This is quite odd, if the patient moves to a different time zone all previous report times gets modified!
I think the machine and software should use local (patient) times and not deal with time zone corrections at all. That's the way my other CPAP, the Breas iSleep 20i works. It makes much more sense to me. The reports use exacly the same clock time shown by the machine, so there is no confusion about it.
It still not clear to me if the clock is set when using the SD card without cable. The machine can't know how much time passed since the SD card was taken out the computer and put into the SmartLink module, so it can't set its clock based on it.
The clock may is set at factory and not adjustable. This is OK if the SmarLink clock is quite accurate.
