Theres is most of the software on different sites around the net including the software that hospitals use for Resmed. It not difficult to find but please be warned that this is pirate software and is illegal to use as it breaks all copyright infringement

Are you the software police? If you go to Onkor it is not pirated, it has been programmed by one of the guys on this site with the help of other guys on this site, for the use of everyone on this site. Besides, this therapy costs us thousands (if you don't have insurance) and to save a few bucks the risk is worth it.
Cheers
Nan
PS The thread for Onkor is just a few below this one. And the thread about legalities is just below that, happy reading.

If I was the "Software Police" then I would have to arrest myself

This is not necessarily true. keep in mind also that COPYRIGHT Infringement and SOFTWARE PIRACY are entirely different things. You can pirate software and not infringe upon copyright and vice versa. They are not anywhere near being the same thing.

As I stated in the other thread regarding the legality of downloading the software:
Tip10 wrote:It very well may not be illegal.

Simply because something is copyrighted does not, in and of itself, make possession and/or downloading of the software illegal.

A copyright holder is free to give away their work if the so choose to do so -- many many authors, musicians and programmers freely give away their work without surrendering their copyrights -- the fact that you can download the software without restriction directly from the ResMed site is pretty indicative that the copyright holder may not wish to enforce their intellectual rights with regard to dissemination of the product. I would be wary, however, of downloading the software from any site OTHER than directly from ResMed

I, personally, find it somewhat of interest that the software is packaged without the type of standard license agreement that's present with most all commercial software. There are a couple of disclaimers buried in the Clinicians manual but nothing in the way of a License Agreement that I've found yet -- does not mean it does not exist -- just I haven't found it yet.
