Alright, this is just so wrong

Post by TalonNYC » Sun Apr 24, 2011 10:42 am

I'm watching the new Dr. Who episode, and (no spoilers, I promise) at one point there are hoses hanging down from something.

The wrong part is that I immediately recognized them as ResMed SlimLine hoses...

Edit: since I know some of you have or will watch it, not ALL of them are SlimLine. But at least one is.

As a sci-fi geek, I concur. Sometimes we watch these old movies/episodes over and over just to pick out hardware we recognize.
The model builders try to make things hard to identify, but it's just another puzzle to solve.

That's hilarious. Now I can't wait to watch it. Wonder if it will show up on Hulu.

That was a lot of the charm of the original Brit. series. K-9 could have been made from an old Resmed S7 and Llegos!

Everybody knows CPAP was invented on Gallifrey!

I really loved the cheesiness of the old Dr. Who episodes.

Remember, the "ultimate" evil enemy was made from trash cans and toilet plungers.
