Will Medicare Cover A Prescription for "Heated Tubing"?

Post by fullrun » Thu Apr 21, 2011 2:39 pm

I have the Resmed 9Series... my doctor has just prescribed for me the "heated tubing" for the unit. I know Medicare covers the regular tubing, but wondered if anyone could tell me if they will also cover the heated one.

I have AARP Medicare complete and have only gotten the climateline hoses. You should qualify every 3 months for a new one.

That is a pretty personal question for an open forum but if you must know people receiving disability benifits are covered under Medicare.

Medicare paid for both my original ClimateLine (heated tubing) hose and for a replacement, so I doubt that you will have any problem getting them to pay for yours.
