I recently read about a new product called ProVent (made by Ventus) for sleep apnea and snoring treatment. This device consists of two identical adhesive disposable units - one for each
nostril. This appears to be a selective valve - no resistance on inhalation and approximately (from their website) 10 cm of water resistance on exhalation. Apparently this "backpressure"
decreases snoring and apnea. Here is a link to their "professional" website: http://www.proventtherapy.com/for_healt ... fessionals Anybody know or used this product?
ProVent disposable nose valves
Re: ProVent disposable nose valves
It's not a new product... it's been posted about many times. If you add up the cost of using these for a while, it will become clear that getting a durable machine is a whole lot cheaper in the long run.
