Shoot...I forgot to put in my data card...

Post by boognish » Mon Apr 18, 2011 10:57 am

I took out my card to download yesterday, then never put it back in the machine.

Hopefully the insurance company will be forgiving about things like this when they take a look to evaluate whether or not I've been using it regularly.

The only thing that you've lost, so far, is the high resolution data. The summary, detail, and (most importantly) compliance data for yesterday will show back up once you put the card back in.

I have never had a Resmed Machine so I dont know the details, but my PR1 machine keeps the data in the machine and will add it to the card when you put it back in the machine after you leave it out for a night. Not sure if the S9 does this also. Maybe someone with an S9 could help out.

Just tell them you were out partying all night long.

I doubt any of them have a "4 hours a night, 365 days a year" compliance policy anyway. A little Googling suggests medicare wants 70% of the nights for 30 days within the first 90 days.

I doubt that other insurance is a lot different. Has anyone figured out the "number of days" criteria for their non-medicare insurance?

BernieRay has it right, just be sure to put that card back in before you go to bed tonight.

I have done that a couple of times so far, and in only 36 days of use so far. The time, average AHI stuff will still be there, just not detailed data. No big deal really.
