I think it's a great idea! I actually did a search under "dating" to find this topic.

When I used to get my nails done, I was still getting used to my CPAP and I told my nail tech about a guy I was just meeting (no sparks, as it turned out) and I commented that I was a little apprehensive about when/if I ever get serious with anyone again, having them see me with that contraption on my face. She said, very matter-of-factly, "Date someone else who has sleep apnea." We cracked up, making up all sorts of funny scenarios of hoses getting tangled up in the night, mixing up hoses if you both get up in the night and then "plugging" into the wrong machine and being blown away if the other one has a higher pressure setting, etc.

Seriously, though, what a cool idea - finding someone who understands and doesn't run screaming if they see you looking like a scuba diver or a jet fighter pilot.

I had a relationship once that was severely hampered by my snoring. That wasn't the cause of it not lasting, but it sure didn't help matters on a day-to-day basis. NOT snoring has GOT to be better, right?

Ok, I'm 41, female, and live on the west coast of Florida. Anyone else from around here?

Zzzzz . . . What? Who? Me?

Hmm... Seems like CPAP'ers are disproportionately already married.. what a bummer!
