ResMed card reader, again....

I'm close to buying an S8 reader from an ebay seller in Israel, but I was wondering if it was legal. Has anyone else purchased this sort of thing from an overseas seller, and did you have trouble with importation or customs?
I've searched several threads about the card reader, but haven't found the answer I'm looking for.

I bought mine from AU. As far as I know it's legal. Did not have any trouble with customs

I bought one on ebay several months ago and it also came from Israel. I don't remember the sellers ID but it was sent quickly and no problems.
