Software?

Software?

I really am a newbie, and admit to not being computer savvy. I noticed on profile page where you list your equipment, there is a place for "software". Not sure what that is referring to.
I'm guessing there is a way to find out what is on the little data card, from your own home?

I have looked at the equipment lists at the bottom of your posts and when I click on what you have listed for software (the ones that are the same machine as mine) it says that software is no longer available. How do I find the one I need?
