Bad night Sunday night

Post by LilBuckaroo » Tue Jan 10, 2006 2:13 pm

Hi all,
I had a bad night Sunday night. I woke up at approximately 5AM Monday morning maskless. I hadn’t ripped it from my face. It was lying on the floor neatly unbuckled. I have no idea of how long I had been without it. My machine was turned off, so it must have happened when I woke up for a bathroom run.

Needless to say, I felt bad when I woke up. I strapped it back onto my face and went back to sleep, and felt terrible the rest of the day. I slept fairly well on Monday night, but still don’t feel really well today.

Perish the thought, but does this mean that I am now CPAP dependent?

Thanks for any replies,

Harold

I suppose you're addicted to CPAP. lol

Yet I completely feel the same way. The mask has become my nighttime buddy of sorts. I can't imagine sleeping without it anymore. Just strapping it on makes me feel sleepy.

Guess it just goes to show that humans are very adaptable. Yea humans! Specialization is for insects.

Hey Harold,

Don't blame yourself... I bet it was that little kid in the straw hat that came in and pulled off your mask.

Hi Harold,

I did the same thing and somehow took off my mask just last week. I woke up at four and wondered why the sound of a major mask leak was coming from the opposite side of the bed. Then I realised my Aura decided to sleep on the opposite pillow. I put the darn thing back on, but must have had it off for a little while because I was pretty tired when I got up AND that feeling carried over a couple of days later.

Good news is with the mask staying in its proper place I'm now better. Of course, this just reinforces the fact I can NEVER cheat and not use it when I'm sleeping.

Wading,

I know who it, but don't khow why

FYI, that is not a straw hat, It is felt. Remember, the picture was taken in 1951.

If I could, I would publish the full sizes scan. Any ideas?

Once I woke up with my mask off. I found it in little pieces - I took it apart in my sleep. I had a hard timie finding all the pieces.
