ComfortCurve and Cheek Pad?

Post by dnelms » Sat Dec 24, 2005 6:02 am

Has anyone else had a reaction to the material used on the ComfortCurve Nasal Interface cheek pads? Each day there is a bit more of a red spot on my cheeks. Is this just the pressure from the pads and is normal OR is there an alternative to the type of pad used?

Thanks

Greetings,

if you are reacting to the silicone pads, replace them with foam.

Panty Liners have been known to do a good job also.

silicone is a pretty safe material, I doubt it would cause you a reaction, I would chalk it up to being a side effect to having a sleep apnea mask, I've had worse than a few marks before when another nasal mask left deep lines around my nose

Moleskin padding from Dr. Sholls is a good replacement. For my face shape, it gives a much more snug fit.
