ResMed Software Issues

Post by bluemom51 » Sun Apr 03, 2011 8:32 pm

I downloaded the software from ResMed and it looks like it worked ok. When I click the icon, it opens the software and I tried to open the clinician's manual. The file path at the top looks right - C:/resmed/rescan3/rescan clinician's manual.pdf, but when it opens it hangs up a lot and it looks like an older version - the clinician's manual file says it was updated in 2008? It's hard to tell what I'm looking at because it won't stop hanging up, but it does show a table of contents. The first page says version 3.7.

Could someone maybe email a copy to me or tell me where to find it?

OK, I just realized I'm lost - does the clinician's manual show how to change the pressure settings or do I also need another manual. I assume the user's manual does not show how to do that.

Thanks

Yes, it will show how to change the pressure settings but not much good to you if you can't open the manual.

Which machine do you have. Can you please add your equipment used to your Profile's equipment page. Please use text as images all look alike.

If you are new user I will assume that you have the Resmed S9 machine of some model. You can get another download of the clinician manual or you can also use this link that shows how to enter the clinician menu.

Clinician manual can be obtain by going to forum member Uncle_Bob and look in his signature.

The current version is 3.13.
You can download it here:viewtopic.php?p=582693#p582693, Uncle_Bob usually has the most recent dowload address in his signature.

Thanks for the replies - I found a thread for Uncle Bob's link to download the software. I clicked the link and it asked me if I wanted to save it, and I did. But it does not generate an icon and I can't seem to find it anywhere and I don't know how to find it or set up the icon. When I tried it from ResMed, it seemed to be an older version, but it did set up an icon.

Please help. Thank

Do you have a download folder? This is where most program downloads tend to go unless you point them somewhere else.
You could also search for ResScan folder and make a note where it is.
