New machine for me!!

Post by Nelliebear » Thu Mar 31, 2011 5:41 pm

So, tomorrow a new Rt will be knocking on my door to hook me up with my new PR System One REMstar Auto CPAP Machine with A-Flex!! I have not had a new machine for 5 years. I also ordered a Liberty mask. It will be delivered next week. I am so excited!! I am wondering if I need to purchase the software for it or If I can get enough info. without it.

Congratulations! The new System One's are supposed to be even quieter. I'll be interested to hear how you like it.

I have the same machine. You need the software to read the data. The screen display shows only 7-day and 30-day averages for AHI--not very helpful.

I was afraid of that. Now to justify spending $100 to my husband, just to know how I am doing. He says. " I can tell you how you are doing, I sleep with you every night. You're doing fine." Big help.

You definitely need the software. PM Uncle Bob, he may be able to help you out.

Thank you all for you responses!! I will have to take a lot of time to figure this whole thing out. I am not very computer savvy, but luckily, my husband is. I will let you know how I am doing. I am glad I am not new to CPAP therapy. I have been using my basic machine for 5 years, very successfully.
