Believe me, if I didn't have a son who lives and breathes Star Wars, I wouldn't know who they are either! I'm still not entirely sure how Anakin can be regarded as "the good side" considering he becomes Darth Vader! Maybe there is no real dark side or light side, and it's all just shades of gray...

Geek, here; married to geek--children raised as geeks.
We rejoice in our geek-ness.
Had a vanity plate for several years that was star trek themed.

" very trebling"
Any landing you walk away from is a good one; if you don't break your airplane it's excellent.

Well, fortunately, I was able to get off the mountain(s).

To find all the Number One Seeds out of the Tourney.

Is anybody's bracket not a shambles?

Course, things are lookin' pretty good if you got UConn.

Anybody have VCU in the Finals?

I'm sure you know that in the areas of Idaho designated as wilderness, that is all you are allowed to leave. No ATV tracks, no motorcycle tracks, no bicycle tracks, no tracks from mechanical equipment of any sort. Right now there is a fair amount of controversy over the idea of whether or not to allow mountain bikes in a future White Clouds wilderness area. Bikers argue they are no worse than human or horse footprints. The wilderness purists say nothing mechanical should be allowed. I'm not sure they even want to allow axes and shovels!

In the mean time those of us who don't possess 30 yr old marathon runner fit bodies can still ride ATVs on roads and trails in some state and federal forest lands. But even those areas are being whittled away by environmental purists. And where ATVs and trail bikes are allowed, only inconsiderate slobs and clods leave tracks off the roads and trails.

OK, let's Cut to the Chase. That rule has a Ghost of a Chance passing this year (as it's still in Limbo), but In the End (perhaps in 2112), they won't be able to Resist, and the law will pass, affecting not only the Territories but the Subdivsions as well. Lessons learned, a Caravan of ATV's would leave Scars, for although the Trees may not be affected, most of the damage is done Between the Wheels. You can't expect Something for Nothing, and eventually, Natural Science will triumph over The Big Money.

Marathon aside (that's 30 in Dog Years), that's not my Mission: Given the Circumstances, the Bravado of that Malignant Narcissism is a Far Cry from anything more than One Little Victory, and only serves to disrupt the Peaceable Kingdom. Show, Don't Tell: it doesn't help Losing It, for I am a New World Man and simply not in the Mood.
