How to connect ResMed VPAP to computer for data transfer?

Post by HandleTruth » Mon Mar 28, 2011 9:08 am

Thanks to Uncle_Bob from a previous post; was able to successfully download ResScan V3.13 to my computer. What cable should I purchase to directly download the data from my ResMed VPAP Auto 25 to my PC so I can view it on ResScan? Is it an SD card (VPAP side connector) to USB (computer side connector) cable, or is it something custom from the ResMed (ResScan USB adapter)? Also, where can I purchase this adapter / cable; just checked CPAP Auction & eBay and there were no data download cables.

Also, is the ResMed VPAP Auto 25 a ResMed S8 or S8 II series CPAP machines? Guess we are all still waiting on the S9 version of this machine.

Thanks for your consideration.

I think cables are "null modem cables" which apparently very hard to find now.

Will the regular ResMed card reader work with the ResMed S8 VPAP?
This one?

Only place I have seen it is on Ebay. There are a few listed now.
