Yep, Walgreens, K-Mart, Wal-Mart, most any pharmacy should have Ayr Saline Nasal Gel.

Oh yes, most any drugstore will have it, as does Amazon if you want to buy in bulk after you try it out.
Make sure to get the medication-free saline gel, as Ayr makes a TON of different nasal products.

Try Lansinoh pure lanolin on your nares and you won't have any irritation from the pillows. I like Lansinoh because it has a bit of a tacky consistency which helps get a good seal. It can be found on the baby aisle of a pharmacy or WalMart/KMart/Target.... it is in a purple tube/box, runs about $9 and will last ages. My tube is now 7.5 months old and is only about half gone. You only need a tiny dab on each nostril. It is usually used by nursing moms, but it is a fabulous product and won't hurt the pillows. Some products will damage the pillows.....
Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.

Thanks, Emilia...
I'll probably get both products and see which I like better.

The jargon that you want is to ask the DME about the terms of their "fit warranty." Some DMEs do not take back the masks that don't fit, but let you keep them. I have a Comfort Gel that trashed the bridge of my nose that I'm keeping for backup, and Swift FX nasal pillows that I am liking now. I think I should probably get a FFM (full face mask) in case of colds.Slinky wrote: Another little "secret" out of the bag is that Resmed, Respironics and Fisher & Paykel wlll replace FREE to local DME providers most any of their mask models that patients have tried and been unsuccessful with IF the DME provider will fill out a form and return form and mask to the manufacturer W/IN 30 DAYS. So there really is little to no excuse for the provider to not offer a lenient mask exchange policy.
Having a comfortable mask is really important.

For me, the issue is the machine. I want to be able to track the data and honestly...I am surprised my doc isn't interested in doing that. I will be making a call to the DME on Monday...Drowsy Dancer wrote: The jargon that you want is to ask the DME about the terms of their "fit warranty." Seems like most of the doctors go simply on how we feel. " Don't feel so good?" they say "Ah, just give it time. "DJ Sean wrote: For me, the issue is the machine. When it was time for my 2 month follow up I was told to bring my machine. Okay, why? Well they tell me it is to check for compliance usage for insurance. I told them I bought my own outside of insurance. They said, okay we don't need you to bring your machine. When I got to the appointment I was asked to fill out the same questions they ask to screen and score for OSA. That was it. I was having some problems and I went to the appointment armed with my reports but if I hadn't they wouldn't have known.
