Noisy machine

Post by shaund » Sat Mar 26, 2011 1:49 pm

Hi A while back I was asking everyone everywhere how to deal with the constant air noise it was driving me crazy.
Not mask noise as i finally got a great seal then i heard the constant sound of air and i guess some noise from the motor?
Anyway when it's in the dead of silence night and it's 2 feet from my face it is impossible to get to sleep.
I found a really cool thing from an online company. It's basically a container that's insulated so well that when I put my machine in it and closed it it was dead silent even while at level 16 for me.
It sits on the floor, looks like furniture and has holes for my breathing tube and power cord. You don't have to worry about heat or fire, it's fireproof and cpap machines barely get warm at all anyway.
As an added bonus it covers those lights and I don't know about you but when it was on the table next to my bed i was constantly knocking things off with my hose.
The company is selling them as fast as they can make them so I ordered a second one for my father in-law for $100 bucks its by far the best money I've ever spent for a good nights sleep.
I have gotten a lot of advice on this talk site so I'm finally giving some back.
thank you
