I'm starting to get just the smallest bit suspicious. Has anyone actually
seen this "Mike" character???
Dr. Cloudy... you behave or else I will put you back in time out with nothing but pineapples and cupcakes to eat.

Pineapples and cupcakes are particular favorites of mine. I believe I could subsist upon them indefinitely. Thus I have no fear of your punishments. Bring on the apodosis!

Brainy, May I correct your spelling? ADIPOSIS= fleshiness, corpulence. Boy, that felt good!

I guess that fits, DoriC, but I said apodosis and I meant apodosis:
EtymologyFrom Ancient Greek ἀπόδοσις (apodosis) from ἀπό (apo, “back again”) and δόσις (dosis, “gift”)
Noun apodosis (plural apodoses)
The consequential clause in a conditional sentence.
In "I will be coming if this weather holds up", "I will be coming" is the apodosis.
Antonyms protasis
Retrieved from "http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/apodosis"

Weird. I was almost sure you meant "apodosis" meaning
prayers following a feast. It's the whole pineapple cupcake thing that made me think that.

Seems apodosis split into several meanings. That must have happened like mitosis or metamorphosis---right up to the point of apotheosis.

And I misread the first way through on Cloudy's post... thought I was looking at the word "apoptosis" which I had come across for the first time earlier today.
Apoptosis: A form of cell death in which a programmed sequence of events leads to the elimination of cells without releasing harmful substances into the surrounding area.

Anyway, in the spirit of the word Cloudy
actually used, I'll just say...
Jaylee will swoon if Cloudy continues.

"Firing a sleep medicine doc...how do YOU do it?"
Well, now, son, that depends on whether we're talkin' Real Life or Fantasy...

Dori-- I think that's Apoptartis...
The OSA patient died quietly in his sleep.
Unlike his passengers who died screaming as the car went over the cliff...

I'd thought "apodosis" meant "the condition of having left ones MP3 player at home."
One can learn a lot here.
