I know that there are PulseOx machines out there, but I don't know anything about them.
Do they have data downloads? Software? What does the machine consist of? I've seen them in the hospital, but I don't know what the home ones look like, or how they work.
Are there specific machines that work well at home? Are the cost-effective if insurance won't pay for them?
Any info would be welcome...

A popular unit has been the CMS50E. Put that into a search engine and you should get some idea of what is available. Price runs around $120 for a recording finger tip unit, the wrist mounted units run a little more. They record data during the night and then you download it to your computer for analysis the next day. Software and cable is included. Don't loose the cable, it is dedicated to your unit and is not a general USB cable.
