ComfortGel Replacement Cushion

Post by Lavendel » Mon Jan 24, 2005 8:06 pm

Has anyone ever bought a Respironics ComfortGel replacement cushion? The reason I'm wondering is that my head gear & plastic parts are fine, but I need a new cushion only, BUT it looks almost impossible to get the two plastic parts apart in order to replace the cushion. They seem almost "fused" to me. Anyway, wondering if anyone has done this & how it works. It would save me a bit of money if I could just replace the gel mask.
Thanks for any positive help!

Thanks for the link & what a great price! Does anyone know how you change these out? I've tried to pull the plastic parts apart to no avail

I am don't know the answer, but if you figure it out let me know. I have that mask (tonight will be its maiden voyage) and I was under the impression that you just replace the mask.

Good luck.

The nice folks at CPAP.com let me know that the Respironics Profile Lite Gel Mask is a different mask than the ComfortGel which is a newer version & has replaceable parts. The Profile Lite gel mask does not have parts you can replace.
Thanks for the information! I hope to be ordering one of the new ComfortGels very soon!
