Mask removal during sleep

Post by sandster » Thu Mar 17, 2011 8:47 am

I use a chin strap to help me not mouth breathe. It does not however keep me from pulling my mask off. I have however come to a great resolution for the problem. Probably not a new idea but one I haven't seen here recently. I put my mask, and chin strap on and then put a baseball cap on my head. I have not had a problem with removing my mask during sleep since I started this. I am not a side sleeper so I am not sure that this would work in that case but I am grateful that I am getting an entire night of sleep with my CPAP on.

Anything that helps us get through the night in a positive manner is well worth it. Good job on finding what works for you.
