Newbie questions

Post by dusty0318 » Tue Mar 15, 2011 4:46 pm

I seem to have a bit of a burning sensation where the mask sits on my chin. Any ideas?

How do you handle answering the phone while wearing the mask? I pulled the hose off.

I ordered a hose cozy. The cat just tonight discovered the hose. Aaaack.

Are you allergic to the mask material? Is there a rash? Is the burning sensation more than heat caused from plastic on skin (extra warm skin)?

I shut off the machine and tilt the nasal mask away from my nose.

My cat hated the smell of eucalyptus so if she attacked my tubing I would have put a few drops rubbed between my palms and rubbed the outside of the hose/hose cover. Their smell is so sensitive it doesn't take much for them to be repelled. Mint might work too.

We have 4 cats and, surprisingly, they don't seem to be interested in hose or mask... even when hanging over the bed. We do have one cat that loves and will try to eat anything mint (he will also pull green veggies out of shopping bags and munch on them).
